^{The Bachelor of Science Education (Hons.) Mathematics degree program aims to nurture innovative and dynamics Mathematics educators in fulfilling the nation’s aspiration to provide quality basic mathematics education to all. This program prepares students to apply mathematics and mathematics instructional skills for the secondary schools, matriculation and other private colleges or institutions. The program focuses on education, mathematics education and mastery of mathematics content knowledge such as Calculus, Mathematical Logic and Proving Techniques, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Complex Variables, Mechanics,}

^{Numerical Analysis. In addition, pedagogical content knowledge is also emphasized in significant courses such as Pedagogies for Mathematics Instructors, English for Teaching Mathematics and Problem Solving in Mathematics.}

^{Upon completion, students who wish to work as educators may join schools (such as public schools, private schools and international schools), colleges and higher educational institution (such as polytechnic colleges, matriculation colleges, private colleges and international colleges) or tuition centre.}

^{Entry Requirements}

^{Candidates who wish to join this program are required to fulfill the following conditions:}

^{i. SPM/SPMV with a minimum grade C in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, English Language and Physics/Chemistry/}

^{Biology
ii. Diploma from UiTM (in a field of Science and Technology) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50}

^{OR Diploma from UiTM (in a field of Science and Technology) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50}

^{AND passed Science Pre-Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 and with a minimum of Grade B in Mathematics subject}

^{OR Diploma from other recognized institutions of higher learning (in a field of Science and Technology) with a minimum CGPA}

^{of 3.00}
