Program Descriptions
An extension of the Arts Education in the Faculty of Education, the Master of Education in Visual Arts Education is one of the faculty’s most creative and productive postgraduate programs. 

Mode and Duration
Full-time: 1 ½ years (classes during weekdays)
Part-time: 2 years (classes on Friday and Saturday)

Entry Requirements

The Master of Education in Visual Arts Education is open to any candidates who fulfils the following requirements:

1.  B. Ed. (Art and Design Education) (Honors) from a recognized university with a CGPA of 2.75 and above;

OR    

2.  B. Ed. (Art and Design Education) (Honors) from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and at least ONE year of teaching/working experience.

OR   

3. Any Bachelor's Degree and Diploma in Art and Design from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and at least ONE year teaching/working experience;

OR

4. Any Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university not meeting the minimum requirement of CGPA 2.50, however with at least FIVE years teaching/working experience;

OR

5.  APEL A

AND
6.  Must have a minimum Malaysian University English Test (MUET) score of Band 3.5

AND 

7.  Pass the interview and test conducted by the Faculty of Education.

Academic Pathway after Master of Education (Visual Arts Education)
Graduates who wish to further their studies may pursue Doctor of Philosophy (Education) at the Faculty of Education UiTM or in any other related Ph.D. program in a different higher learning institution.
